Up to the Extreme Flow,
with MONAS Pump

Monas Pump, Progressive cavity pumps specialist

Since its founding in 1998, Monas Pump has been manufacturing and supplying Monas, a high-end mono pump (Progressive Cavity Pump) brand, with specialized mono pump manufacturing facilities, including a dedicated mono pump processing machine. Our company received ISO 9001 certification for mono pumps in 2001, and has developed a variety of mono pump products and improved quality through continuous technology development and improvement efforts, including obtaining many patents. Most of Monas' products are in operation at major sites in various industrial fields such as environmental and water treatment, paper, food and beverage, and chemical plants in Korea. Monas is also exported to over 20 countries, including Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and is in operation at many sites. In 2015, the current mass production plant was built and relocated within the Sihwa Industrial Complex MTV Complex, expanding facilities and automation equipment, and starting in 2022, new products, K-Series and KD Mono Dispenser, are being launched and are being recognized by customers for their performance and quality. In the future, we pledge that our executives and staff will work together as one to develop into a world-leading mono pump specialist company, and we ask for the continued support and guidance from our customers.

The MONAS K-Series Progressive Cavity Pump

K-Series is

The new product that has dramatically improved performance and convenience based on Monas‘ accumulated technology and experience. It has the following features and advantages.

  • Robust Monas Pin Joint
  • Structure in which the drive shaft is divided into two
  • Mono block and Bearing block types
  • Various specifications of standard pitch and long pitch
  • Powerful dehydration cake transfer pump KC type
  • KC type for easy maintenance even in difficult sites
  • KD dispenser applying the principle of PC pump

Patented Monas joint structure

The Monas joint of the K-series has a simplified structure with only the minimum number of parts, making assembly simple. In addition, the patented structure of the Monas pump ensures perfect sealing of the joints, and by adopting a specially processed metal ring instead of a metal seal band to seal the joints, various materials can be applied, and a long, trouble-free life is guaranteed.

Structure in which the drive shaft is divided into two

The K-series has a structure in which the drive shaft is divided into two, a connecting shaft and a drive shaft (plug-in shaft structure), so the seal can be replaced without removing the drive shaft from the bearing housing, making seal maintenance easy.

Mono block and Bearing block types

The K-series is provided in two driving unit types: Mono block type and Bearing block type. Users can choose a pump that suits their purpose and situation between the mono block type, which has a compact design that allows installation in small spaces and is economical, and the bearing block type, which can be connected to a variety of actuators.

Various specifications of standard pitch and long pitch

The K-series provides two types of rotor and stator: standard pitch, which is good for use in high concentration/high viscosity and high pressure applications, and long pitch, which has a large capacity and is good for use in low concentration/low viscosity and low pressure applications. Users can freely select the pump specification that suits their flow rate and purpose.

KC type, Powerful dehydration cake transfer pump

The KC type dehydration cake pump of the K-series is designed with a structure that integrates the pump and bridge breaker. Therefore, smooth suction is possible through a wide inlet, powerful agitation is possible with a large screw, and performance has been dramatically improved through a low-height, compact design. In addition, the suction performance of dehydrated cakes has been improved by installing Monas' patented Inducer structure.

KC type, Easy maintenance even in difficult sites

The KC type dehydration cake pump of the K-series has a 3-part casing and a 3-part screw rod structure, making it easy to maintain even in difficult pump maintenance sites. This is because it has adopted Monas' patented structure that allows maintenance in place (MIP) without removing the machine. In addition, a patent has been applied that allows maintenance by disassembling the rotor/stator through the inspection hole without disassembling the casing.

KD Mono Dispenser(PC Pump Dispenser)

Users who need to dispense a much smaller volume than the K-series can choose the KD dispenser family. The KD dispenser uses the mono pump(Progressive cavity pump) transfer principle, so unlike other dispensers, dosing and filling are possible freely. The special principle of the monopump allows for non-pulsating metering transfer of high-viscosity liquids, and the discharge amount is exactly proportional to the number of rotations, making it easy to control the flow rate. The suck-back function through reverse rotation is also possible to prevent liquid dripping. In addition, if proportional injection is required by mixing two liquids, using the KDD duo dispenser, allows the user to accurately adjust the mixing ratio desired.
